Pastries go great with any meal. Donuts for breakfast. Muffins and danishes for brunch. Bread for your sandwich at lunch. And the humble yeast roll to go with your dinner. Don’t forget your cake for dessert!
This looks like something my grandmother would have made. She was almost famous for cooking. Those apricots in the pie to go along with some vanilla ice cream sound amazing. Is it okay to grab a birthday pie?

Ready for your close up? Those cherries look right at home on top of the pastry. They’re just waiting to be eaten!

I think what excited me most about this was the cream cheese frosting, there’s never anything wrong with that. But then the cherry on top? It really does make everything better.

I love the idea of the fresh fruit with the jam filling spilling out of the inside. These pies have so much going for them. The cookie on top of the whipped cream, the fresh fruit, the filling. So many ways for this to be amazing!

Enough talk about fruit pastries, whose ready from savory pastries? The bacon wasn’t the only I picked this, I promise. But let’s not forget that savory pastries are in so many ways as good as their sweet counterparts.
