October sees the rise of soups and the arrival October fest, so sausage felt like a fitting feature for the Weekly Favorites this week.
I like that this is a retirement community taking the time to make things a little extra fun for the residents. Plus, it’s Octoberfest. Beer and sausage. It doesn’t get much more fun than that.
We celebrated Oktoberfest in style with authentic German music and food here at Gilmore Gardens Retirement Residence in Richmond! Prost! 😄 #vervecares #community #Oktoberfest #germany #german #sausage https://t.co/F4r13NJJ8W pic.twitter.com/JqFS158HLg

I’ve been making a lot of eggs for breakfast here lately. Basically I take anything I can find in the fridge, and add eggs. Sometimes it is sausage. This gives me a lot new ideas!

I’ve always liked sausage balls, but I never of using the sausage ball mixture as a stuffing. Sausage is a great stuffing for various meats. It goes really well with pork.

This is similar to an easy weeknight dinner we have been making, which is sausage and frozen vegetables on a sheet pan baked in the oven till it’s done. I haven’t added zucchini to it yet, but that sounds like an amazing combination!
