I smoked a pork loin over the weekend, so I was inspired to write about smoked meats. This week. For some, smoked meats are a way of life. People have created entire empires based off of the life of smoked meats and barbecue. Smoked meats are also super easy make.
I don’t know why I never thought to smoke meats in a cast iron skillet on a grill before. I makes a lot of sense when you think about it. It’s a great way to capture the smokey flavor and make sure you keep all of the meat drippings at the same time.

A whole day devoted to smoked meats! I’m not sure what I’m most excited about, those ribs or that salmon!

Two things about this tweet are awesome. First, he’s celebrating his wife for simply making a sandwich for him. Second, it’s a smoked meat sandwich!

Like most people out there, my first foray into the world of smoked meats was with the brisket. The pork butt was too imposing. Once I made the switch from brisket to pork butt, I haven’t looked back. Check out Bryan on his first pork butt attempt!
