Pasta is such a versatile ingredient. From soups to casseroles to traditional Italian dishes to Asian cuisine, pasta covers a lot of ground. Pasta can be made from eggs and flour or from rice. It is very easy to make. Either way, pasta creates a base to create and entire dish from.
Great for summer time, some fresh pasta with and mixed vegetables make a great dinner or a simple salad to enjoy on the side.
Fresh asparagus, chopped tomato + white beans are in this mouthwatering pasta recipe!

One of the great things about pasta, that lends itself to so many dishes, is its ability to be cooked in the other ingredients it is meant to compliment. It is perfect for one pot meals like this one.

Well if you’re going to take the meat away, at least make it creamy or cheesy. A little cream added to tomato sauce makes for a delicious meal.

If you haven’t tried to make fresh pasta, and then use that fresh pasta to make, it’s truly rewarding. You choose the filling. You can even choose to flavor the pasta dough. It can be a little daunting the first time around, so worth the effort.
Possibly the first time I’ve made ravioli fearlessly. I’ve filled these with smoked garlic and chestnut mushrooms. The sauce is butter, peas, white wine, parsley, a touch of sage and a tiny pinch of cayenne and white pepper. Best pasta I’ve ever made. #FridayFeast #Pasta pic.twitter.com/PugBF80NYh
